Obituary of Tony Bagayawa

Passed away peacefully with family surrounded by his side on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023, at the age of 77 years. Survived by his loving spouse Edna Bagayawa (Suarez), with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Cherished children Jennifer (David) Sharron and Jeremy (Charina) Bagayawa. Devoted Lolo to Elizabeth, Alexander, Nicholas, Owen, Riley, and Dylan. Siblings Ruben (Thelma) and Manuel (Christy). Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends worldwide. His Son, Marc Anthony Bagayawa, predeceased him. As well as siblings Ernesto, Enriqueta, Rosalinda, and Edwina.

Tony had a rewarding career as a Medical Technologist at WRH- Met Campus for over 30 years. Upon retirement, Tony enjoyed traveling all over the world, with the love of his life Edna. His passions included caring for his garden, photography, woodworking, and being a lifelong learner.

Donations in Tony’s memory may be made to Windsor Regional Cancer Foundation or The Hospice of Windsor-Essex.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel 11677 Tecumseh Road E. (519-253-7235) on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023, from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers 4pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Ste. Anne’s Parish 11233 Tecumseh Road E. on Monday, December 4th, 2023, at 11 am. Interment to follow at Ste. Anne’s Cemetery.
