Dear Wallace family, I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. As you probably know, I knew John approximately 50 years. First at Herman C.I. and then at General Motors for over 30 years. I worked with him on the floor when he was a Machine Repairman, in the Training Centre and later in Supervision and Engineering. We did business trips together and worked on many maintenance projects. He was always friendly, competent and a pleasure to work with. He had a great sense of humor and usually lightened the mood of any meeting. Besides seeing him at work, we both lived in the Fountainbleau area and our kids went to Davis public school. Melissa was in our daughter Katie's class so we saw him at all the school activities. I am sure that John will be missed by all his family and friends. Susan and I send our deepest condolences. Bob Patrick

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. I have lots of great memories of John from my younger days at our family reuinion and my heart hurts for his beautiful daughters and loved ones. Rest in Peace, John XXOO Cuz Cheryl
