Obituary of Mary Emily Cambala

CAMBALA, Mary Emily (nee Kraynack)

May 13, 1938 - November 21, 2023

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear sister, Mary Emily Cambala, on November 21, 2023. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Cambala (2008), parents Emil and Anastasia (Nelly) Kraynack. Beloved sister of the late Love Pearl Servey, and survived by brother Nicholas Kraynack and wife Anne.

Mary leaves behind many nephews and nieces, sister-in-law Marion Slavik and Henrietta Hulaj, and very dear friend of the Athavale family.

Mary was a great cook and hostess and will be missed for her gourmet dinner parties.

We want to extend a very warm thank you to the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital, and Windsor Chapel for their guidance and compassion during this very difficult time.

Friends will be received at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7234) on Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, November 27, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.As an expression of sympathy and to honour Mary, memorial donations may be made to The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County (6038 Empress St, Windsor, ON).
