Obituary of Catherine Jean George (Nee Stark)

82 years.  Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 20, 2023. Beloved wife to Robert (Bob) for 62 years. Loving mother to Jeff George, John and Theresa George, Tim and Marina George, Dan and Dee George, and Lori and Jeff Richer. Adored Gram to Andrew, Jillian (Dan), Aaron (Kim), Cameron, Maeve, Darian (Dan), Daniel, Abbey and Aidan. Great-grandmother to Theo, Esmé, Daniel, Audrey, Scarlett, Vera, and Hudson. Will be fondly remembered by countless family members and friends. As a devoted Catholic, Cathy served as a Eucharistic Minister and encouraged others to follow the path of “Faith, Family and Friends.” Cathy wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to faithful friend Bernice St. Denis who brought weekly communion to Mom and Dad. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (South), 3048 Dougall Ave. (519-253-7236) on Friday, November 24th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday, November 25th  at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (4401 Mount Royal Dr.) from 9:00 a.m. to the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
