Obituary of John Jacob Janzen

JANZEN, John Jacob Passed away September 27, 2008 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus, at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Sandra Janzen (nee Paterson). Dearest father of Lou Ann Seguin ( Rick), Jacqui Janzen (Chris), Mike Janzen ( Mary Lyn), and three stepchildren, Shannon Denault, Rob Bates (Rachel) and Erin Sylvester ( Louis). Dear son of the late Jacob (1984) and Elisabeth (1986) Janzen and son-in-law of Bart and the late Marg (1999) Paterson. Special grandfather to 11 grandchildren. Dear brother of Jake (1959) (Erna) Janzen, Dave (2000) (Helen) Janzen, George (Elsie) Janzen, Henry (Irma) Janzen, Mary (Jim) (2008) Greenside and Liz (Herm) Dick. Brother-in-law of Debbie (Paul) Cyrenne, Gwen (Dan) O'Sullivan, Nancy (Larry) Atkins, Tracy (Jim) Meloche, Jill (Tracey) Moore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. John was retired from Erie James Produce in Leamington, after many years of dedicated service. He was also a past member of K of C Council #1405, Rhine Danube Sportsman Club, in Leamington, Windsor Sportsmen's Club and Tuesday Night Euchre Club. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Monday September 29, 2008 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service Tuesday September 30, 2008 at 10:30 a.m in the Chapel. Fr. Vince Gleeson officiating. Cremation to follow.
