My deepest condolences on the passing of your mom, Mike and Francis (I spelled your name right this time Francis). She was always kind to me and I have lovely memories of talking with her and of her delicious baked goodies coming fresh out of the oven : )

One of our favourite neighbours in Guelph - enjoyed some early morning shopping at St Jacob's market, the beauty of flower gardens and good food. We learned so much from Eva - gardening, recipes, entertaining, and many useful hints, and Gilles was so helpful with his knowledge of "fixing things" As a result of their many moves we had the privilege of visiting many lovely places especially Ottawa and Victoria BC. They took us to the amazing Butchart Gardens and when Eva found out that the pansy was Kurt's favourite flower she purchased a lovely print which remained in our home until we moved last year. Eva had so many talents, sewing, gardening, floral arranging, crafts, and cooking, and a sense of humor, but the most important one was making people feel welcome and treasuring friendships. Goodbye dear friend you've earned your rest.

Getting to know Eva was a pleasure ! I first met her at the Friends of Willistead..."Lunch and Learn " events . ...boy did she have a good appetite and appreciate good food ! She joined us when she could and supported us fully.....our members sadly say goodbye?...
