Dear Marg and family My deepest sympathy and sorrow on hearing about Ken’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Ken was always gracious and welcoming who loved life. I can't express enough what wonderful neighbours Ken & Marg have always been these last 38 years. It always brought a smile to my face when I would see him outside in his yard doing what he loved best and we would usually stop our lawnmowers or the snowblower to catch up. He had such a wonderful sense of humour and loved to tell stories, especially about how his girls and their families were doing. He had such great pride for all of them. I have the good fortune of living on a great street where all the neighbours look out for one another, and Ken was the biggest part of that. I will truly miss him being next door and my heart goes out to his family. R.I.P Ken

Ken chaired the United Way Major Firms fund raising division on more than one occasion. His generosity with his time and expertise was appreciated. I was Ken’s staff support member, I recall many meetings where he would assess a situation, think for a moment, have a funny comment and voila Ken had the answer to the issue. Ken’s leadership assisted United Way to raise millions of dollars for our community. Years later my wife and I needed windows, they still are in our home, again Ken helped in his usual calm and direct way. We still have the windows! It was a pleasure to have known Ken over the years and to have benefited from his knowledge and good humor. He was truly a nice man. My life, and the lives of many others was better because of him.

We will miss Ken’s sense of humour! Ken was a great storyteller and clearly loved being around people. No wonder he went into sales after a long career at Chrysler! His duty and commitment to community and neighbours will stay in many hearts and minds in the following years. May Ken’s soul rest in peace. Neighbours, Marian and Gary Drouillard.

Sincere condolences to Mary and family!! Ken was the friendliest, most welcoming neighbour that we could have asked for!! Always giving us vegetables from his garden, checking on the kids and giving us a great quote for our windows!! We will miss him very much!! Sending our love! The Stecko Family!

Our condolence to Margaret and her family and to Tom and his family and Patty and her family. I was visiting Margaret this year in Sept. and I was told that Ken was in the hospital and was unable to have visitors. The last time I saw Ken was about 4 years ago just before Covid came along. He brought Margaret out to visit with me and we met at everyone's famous place Tim Horton's. Ken was a great guy telling jokes and making every one laugh he did visit BC a couple of times a few years ago. He will be sadly missed. Keep him in your prayers.
