Obituary of Norman Nadon
Passed away suddenly at the age of 78 on October 22, 2023. Beloved husband of 56 years to Marie (nee Sargis). Cherished father of Michelle Nadon, John (Heather) and Diana Hooper (Sean). Proud Pépé of Meagan (John), Sydney (Cameron); Matthew, Liam; Marcia, Grady and great Pépé of Hera and River. Predeceased by his parents Gabrielle and Oza and his mother and father-in-law Saul and Rose Sargis. Dear brother of Gilles (2007), Vern (2006) (Mary), Gerry (June), Denis (Sue), Pat (Karen) and Annette Rorison (Stu). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Norm was an elite goalie with several Riverside Travel Hockey Teams, including the Juvenile All-Stars. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 5 years as a Peace Keeper. Norm was the beloved caretaker of St. Anne's Church for 20 years. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, but above all, his true love Marie.
Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery.
