Obituary of Norma Ann Ladouceur

It is with great sadness that we relate to you the passing of our dear mother while on vacation in the Dominican Republic with Sheri and Chantal. Loving wife of Thomas for almost 60 years.  Mother to John (Jake)(Licia) sons Andre, Mitchel and Dante, mother to Sheri, son Devan, daughter Chantal, mother to Jeff (Linda) son Jack and daughter Avery and great grandmother to Brooklyn. Loving sister to Sandra (deceased), Marg, Irene, Carol and Marian.  Forever friends with Donna Parent, Gale Gagnier, Laura Gagnier, Gail Fellows, Shirley Bellemore and Claudette Nadeau. Predeceased by parents Vivian and Harrison Urquhart and in laws Jeanne and Francis Ladouceur. Norma will miss her brothers in law, Bob, Gary, (deceased), Bill and Danny.  Mom could do almost anything with her hands. Ceramics, sewing, paper toll, etc. She was always in the same chair in the kitchen, reading or on her IPAD doing crossword puzzles.   She was visited frequently by cousin Harry Crawford (Timer) and enjoyed her get togethers on Wednesday’s with the neighbours for over 40 years with Leah, Anna Mae, Magda, Betty, Donna, Sally and Lanny.  Our mother graduated from St. Marthas hospital as an R.N.A. and moved from Nova Scotia to Ontario in 1963. She also had many awards for her handiwork and was a lifetime member of the Assumption mothers club given to her by Fr. Matt Sheedy. Thank you to all of our family and friends for your support during this trying time. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue on Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Prayers at 7:30 p.m.  Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.   www.windsorchapel.com
