Obituary of Tadeusz Glaz

Glaz-Tadeusz  "Ted"

Suddenly passed away on October 16th, 2023, surrounded by his family, at 72 years of age. Born in Jackow Ogrod, he was the son of the late Jan and Helena (Szawara) Glaz. He left a legacy as a loving and dedicated husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

Tadeusz's unwavering commitment to his family and friends was nothing short of remarkable. He was always there, ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need at any time. His kind and generous spirit touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. His life was a testament to the extraordinary impact one person can have on the lives of others.

A native of Poland, Tadeusz immigrated with his family to Canada in 1990. He dedicated himself to creating a home and providing for his family in Toronto, Ontario, before relocating to Windsor, Ontario, with his wife six years ago.

Tadeusz is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Glaz; his children, Peter (Anna) and Magdalena (Mirek); his cherished grandchildren, Patrick (Raven), Natalia (Filippo), Zofia, Pawel, Jozef, Maria and Gabriella, as well as his great-grandchildren, Aria and Gianna.

His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him and were fortunate enough to be loved by him. Tadeusz Glaz will be sincerely missed, and his love, kindness, and generosity will forever inspire us all.  

Visitations will occur at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, (Central Chapel)1700 Tecumseh Rd. E (519)253-7234. on Thursday, October 19th, 2023. Visitation for closest family members will begin at 5:00 p.m., and all others are invited to the visitation at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday October 20, 2023 at Holy Trinity Polish Catholic Church (1035 Ellis St E.)  at 11:00am.
