Obituary of Richard James Norris

Richard James Norris “Ricky”

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Richard Norris on October 11, 2023 at the age of 61 years.  Richard leaves behind his loving children; father to Richard Jr., Kim (Rachel), Christopher Robitaille (Marie-Eve), David Robitaille (Nova), Rochelle, Monyke Halabi (Catlen), and Ryan (Prue). Cherished Grandpa to Sheila, Kaylee, Celeste, Erika, Jordan, Jaimy, Lesley-Ann, Nathan, Rosalie, Destinee, Steffy, Lyam, Denver, Riley and Bowie.  Richard is reunited with his parents Helen and Richard (Joseph) Norris, his sister Shirley Kocsis and nephew Kim Kocsis.  He will be greatly missed by his surviving sister Debbie McKinnon (Chuck), his nieces Mary Chehade and Tara McKinnon as well as many cousins, family and friends.  Richard will be remembered by his Aunt Linda and Uncle Alan.  He was passionate about his work, entrepreneur in many areas, and enjoyed helping others as often as possible.  He adored spending time with his family when possible and was known to always have a joke of some sort to share.  Richards down time was spent listening to his 70s and 80s rock music, including the Eagles and the Cars as well as reminiscing of adventures he had over the years.   He loved unconditionally and whole heartedly and will be missed by many.

Friends are invited to join the family at the Knights of Columbus – LaSalle, 8965 Malden Road, LaSalle, ON to Celebrate the Life of Richard on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 p.m.
