Obituary of Dhanabhai Kanabhai Patel

83 years.  Passed away peacefully, with family by his side on October 12, 2023. Beloved husband of Ambaben for 63 years.  Loving father to Kirit (Jigna) Patel, Rajeshree (Vinod ) Patel, Rohit (kaminee) Patel.  Dear Dada to Yash, Unnati, Karishma, Harsh, Mauli and Shreeya.  Dear brother to Gordhanbhai Patel, the late Gandabhai Patel, Kashiben Patel, Shantaben Patel and Dhuriben Patel.  Will be missed by sadly missed by many friends and extended family in Canada, USA and India.  Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel – South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Avenue on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Prayers from 2:00 t0 3:00 p.m., followed by a procession to Windsor Crematorium for cremation services. 

“He’s always been a strong believer in our culture, traditions, and most importantly Bhagvan Shree Swaminarayan. The moment he realized the time in near and possibly he knew due to his trust in Bhagvan Shree Swaminarayan, he had never quit to remember God even for a single minute. 

One thing we have noticed is, his love for wrist watches and we always find a nice watch on his wrist. 

Our memories with him will remain for the rest of our lives and we believe he is always with us in our hearts. “
