It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Donald Clifford Hewitt on September 28, 2023 at the age of 89. Loving Father to Dawn Marie Hewitt, Brian (Anne-Marie) Hewitt and Jim (Nanda) Hewitt. Proud Grandfather to five grandchildren and 7 great grand children. A loyal employee of Chrysler Canada in the benefits and pension department for 35 years. Don was a life member of St. Andrews Masonic Lodge No. 642 for 64 years. He was also a member of Scottish Rite as well as the Moca Shriners since 1986. He was an avid gardener and took great pride in his landscaping. If he wasn't traveling around the world, he would be building model airplanes. A Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (CENTRAL) 1700 Tecumseh Road East on Wednesday, October 4th from 10am until 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children or the S.R.C.F. Windsor Learning Centre for Children or charity of choice.
