Obituary of Girard Amyot

Girard Amyot September 18 1948 - September 25 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Girard. Reunited with late parents Maurice and Eva Amyot. Loving father to Stacie, Mark and Geri-lyn (Vic). Adored Pepe to Mikenzi (Zac), Maile, Mckailey, Marley, Daniel. Noah and Josh. Caring brother to Doreen (John), Moe (Jo-Anne), Ray (Joyce), Russel (Cheryl), Donald (Lynda), and Wayne. Girard was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario and a retiree of Chrysler Canada. He loved spending time with family and a good Ol’ Shepherds Pie. These fond memories will forever be cherished by those closest to him. He was a kind and generous soul that will be greatly missed. His family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Windsor-Essex County where he had spent his last few days surrounded by family and warm, compassionate staff. As per Girard’s wishes, a private gathering will be held for immediate family followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Girard’s memory to the Hospice of Windsor-Essex County.
