Obituary of Mary O'Reilly

O’Reilly, Mary January 9, 1940 - September 18, 2023 Passed away suddenly with family by her side on Monday, September 18th, 2023, at the age of 83. Beloved mother of the late David McCallum (2011), Chris (Myrna) McCallum, Kelly (Stewart) Engelberg, the late Mark McCallum (1965) and Mary Beth Godin. Loving and dedicated Grandmother of Robbie (Tayna) McCallum, Justin (Brittany), Katie (Romel El-Chammas) and Jonathan Tessier, Chelsea (Chris Burden) and Chantal Godin, Luke and Asia McCallum. Great-grandmother to Scarlett and Harrison. Daughter of the late Cecil and Helen O’Reilly. Sister of late Jack (Bernice) O’Reilly, late Pat O’Reilly, Sharon (late Jim) Hoffman, Sr. Maureen O’Reilly and Sr. Colleen O’Reilly. Mary will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews. She was a very proud graduate of Hotel Dieu School of Nursing class 61/62, where Mary maintained lifelong friendships. Also, a Brentwood alumnus, where she formed many meaningful friendships. Family and friends are invited to gather at St. John Vianney Church, (385 Dieppe St) Windsor, on Friday, September 22nd for 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor/Essex Humane Society or Canadian Mental Health Association.
