Obituary of Janet Poirier

Poirier, Janet (Nee Little) Peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at Heron Terrace on Monday, September 18th, 2023 at the age of 92 years. She is predeceased by her late husband Maurice Poirier (2005). The daughter of the late Raymond and Almanda (Martha) Little. Survived by late Roger (2019), Linda (2010), Paul (Diane), Gail (Lionel) Baillargeon, Maureen Billing, Gerald (Tammy). Loving grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Sister to late Norma (late Rene) Laporte, Bernice (late Ted) Merner, late Marvin (Annette) Little, late Bob (Annette) Little, Ronald (Donna) Little, Paul (late Janice) (Ellie) Little, and Lorraine (Tom) Boutette. Special thank you to Ann and Shirley for many years of friendship to Janet. The family would like to thank the staff at Heron Terrace for their unconditional love and support, especially Danielle Duby. A public visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home- Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Road E. (519-253-7235) on Thursday, September 21st, 2023 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, September 22nd, 2023, from 10:00 am until time of procession for Funeral Mass at St. Anne’s Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.) at 11:00 am.
