LAFOREST, Francoise (nee Lavoie)

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 8, 2023 at the age 83. Beloved wife of John Laforest for over 67 years. Loving mother of the late Gisele (late John), Marc (Barb) and Monique. Cherished mémère to Patrick (Rachel), Nicole (Mike), Carissa (Ed), Kayla, Mac (Melissa) and Bianca. Great- mémère to 16 and one on the way. Dear sister of Aurel and predeceased by siblings Jeannette, Maurice, Smokey “Roland”, Vivianne and Paul. Sister-in-law to Paulette. Will be missed by many special nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Magella and Lucienne Lavoie. Retired from General Motors after 27 years of service. She loved playing bingo and many card games. Fran enjoyed listening to country western music, especially Willy Nelson. As per Francoise’s wishes, cremation has taken place. If so desired, memorial donations Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the Alzheimer Society.
