Obituary of Sandra Platt

Sandra Platt, born on August 13^th 1938, passed away peacefully with her husband Tony Platt of 58 years and 5 months by her side on September 6^th 2023. Remembered always by her children Christine Cianferro (Dan), David Platt (Julia) and the late Sue (2015), who were so fortunate to have her as their loving mother. She is survived by her siblings Bob Krause (Dorothy) and John Krause (Cheryl) as well as her sister-in-law Maureen Drew (Sid) and brother-in-law Jimmy (Jean). Sandra will also be missed by her grandchildren Owen Platt, Adam Platt, Emily Cianferro and Eric Cianferro. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Sandra enjoyed playing rounds of BINGO as well as weekly card games. She was an avid sports watcher and was a very proud fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.

All those who knew and loved Sandra are welcome to attend her Memorial visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519-253-7234), on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm and 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a short memorial service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society or The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County, Inc.The Family would like to thank the staff at Richmond Terrace Long Term Care for all their support.
