Obituary of Gino Cian

CIAN, Gino Born February 23, 1925 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on September 5, 2008. Cherished husband of Maria (nee Cusinato). Loving father to Gary Cian and wife Sarina, Rick Cian, Lou-Ann Tosti and husband Antonio, Brenda Bachetti and husband Joe. Adored grandfather to Marco, and Stefania Cian, Christina, Erica, and Alessia Cian, Michela, and Giancarlo Tosti, Daniela, Sabrina, and Julia Bachetti. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 2 sisters in Italy. Survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Bruno and wife Aldina Cusinato, Italo and wife Doris Cusinato, Elena and husband Angelo Brunato (Italy), Gino Cusinato and Marlene, Maria Teresa and late husband Pietro Cusinato, Ettore and wife Manuella Cusinato, Rita and husband Gaetano Di Ponio, Olga and husband Luciano Todesco, predeceased by Celestino and wife Agnese Cusinato (Italy). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in Italy and Canada. Gino retired from Chrysler after 37 and a half years of dedicated and loyal service, a member of CAW Local 444, and Associazione Nazionale Alpini. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Saturday, September 6, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services Monday, September 8, 2008 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
