Obituary of David Moore

MOORE, David Michael Passed away suddenly after a long but courageous battle on August 27, 2023 at the age of 56. Loving and devoted husband of Karry-Lynne. Adored father of Ryan and Amy and step-father to Allyson and David. Dear son of the late Mavis “Jackie” Moore. Dog father to Chloe and the late Beanie. Cherished best friend to Colin and Paula. Also survived by his previous spouse Cathy. Respected and valued by his colleagues of every rank at the Canada Border Service Agency. David was an amazing man, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank Dr. Aoun, Dr. Matthews, and the entire staff from the Windsor Cancer Centre. Also, a special thank you to the staff of the emergency department, especially Caitlin (R.N) for going above and beyond with her care, compassion and her positive energy she exudes. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd East., Windsor (519-253-7235) on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Friday, from 12:00 noon until the Chapel Service at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
