Obituary of Ivanka a.k.a. Yvonne Kosnik

KOSNIK, Yvonne (Ivanka) (nee Puconja) Passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital on September 4, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Loving wife of Frank. Beloved and proud mother of John (Janice), Tom (Chantal), Vicky (Dennis Mifsud), Mary-Anne (Colin McLellan). Cherished Grandma of Shawna, Natalie, Lindsay, Stephanie, Matthew, Stewart and Alea. Predeceased by cherished brother Motijos, and sisters Mimika, Malika, and Julika of Slovenia. Proud lifetime member of the Slovenski Dom. Yvonne was very proud of her Slovenian Heritage and took great pride in her family. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 6 - 9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church (1701 Turner Rd at Seneca) for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Jeff Cohen for his compassion and care given to Yvonne.
