Obituary of Agnes Krzeszowiec

Termina-Bogusz, Agnes October 23, 1917 - September 1, 2008 Beloved mother to Diane Lech. Dearest and precious grandmother to Andrew Lech, predeceased by her spouse Stanley (1981) Very sadly missed by her 4 legged sleeping partner, Cammi. Dearest Aunt to Patricia McWilliams and the late Ken and sons Timothy and Thomas, the late Chester (2008) Termina and surviving wife Joan, daughters Patty and Kathy. Predeceased by her brother John and surviving wife Stella , their daughters, Adele and Jerry Desmoreau, sons Andrew and Robert, Freda Marchinetz and the late Peter and sons Larry and Steven. Dear great great Aunt to Gosia and Mark Szczech, Alexandra and Craig O'Brien, and other family members in Poland. Precious friend to Krystina and Joseph Wojcik, sons John and fiance Nancy, Christopher and wife Mimma, families Kuzniar, Niec, Russell, and Margaret and Melvin Kwiatkowski. Agnes immigrated to Canada at the age of 21 yrs. She crossed the Ocean on the 2nd last boat before the start of the 2nd World War. The boat after her was sunk. She started life in Canada in Kirkland Lake,Ontario before settling in Windsor where Stanley and Agnes purchased a beautiful apple orchard in 1946 at the corner of Glendale and Tecumseh Rd. East. In 1963 built a built a business known as the Diane Motel. This corner was her life, even in her last breath reminded Diane and Andrew to make sure the sign and lights were on for the evening. She was a compassionate and caring person to all her customers, friends and family. Special thanks to Nancy MacDonald PSW and Myles Middleton for their help in homecare and the nurses at 6 north, Metropolitan Hospital. Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Prayers 8 pm. Funeral Thursday September 4, 2008 at 9:15 from the Funeral Home to Holy Trinity Polish Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Cremation to follow.
