McKenney, Joan Valerie

Passed away peacefully on August 1, 2023 at the age of 83 years. Reunited with her husband Ray. Beloved mother of Paul. Joan was a devoted daughter, sister, niece, aunt and mother during her time. Her faith in god was unwavering. Born at the start of the war she survived the blitz and was evacuated from London. Her love of her family members was unchallenged. She loved England and her adopted home Canada. She started her career in banking and she was diligent at keeping her own accounts throughout her life. Joan loved gardening and pets, especially Dogs as they were her favourite. She was a Cancer survivor. Led bible study with her girls as she called them. She will be missed by all that knew her. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Saturday August 5, 2023 from 10:30 am until Funeral Service beginning at 11am in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
