I am so sorry to hear of Georges' passing. As a young engineer in the late 1960's I have such great memories of working with George and the other very competent mechanics at the experimental garage on Walker Road. I learned an awful lot from these guys regarding the practical side of truck engineering. Plus they were fun to be around. Unfortunately I just heard the news and was not able to personally pay my respects. My condolences to the family and thanks George for sharing your knowledge' David Thomas

I will deeply miss George he was my second cousin when went to Windsor to visit he was always kind and friendly. Prayers to all the family. He is now in peaceful place. Love too you all

George was a longtime member at our Credit Union he and his lovely wife were always such a pleasure when they came in. Over the last while we have missed seeing George as he touched our hearts. Be in peace dear man! Sue Mancini

Dear Mrs. Fedak, Jackie, Lori, Marc & Chris, Bran, Lex & Jessi, I am so sorry for your loss. Beeka was a rare combination of strong & silent, kind & gentle, hardworking & tough and he always put his family first. On the day this photo was taken, he greeted me with a big smile, sparkling blue eyes and a hug. We talked about everything from sports to borscht from the “old days” to cars, but the predominant theme was family. He said he didn’t know what he would do without Jeanette and admired her ability to keep all of his medications straight. He spoke about his kids and grandchildren with pride and mentioned how lucky he felt to have all of you. He thought all of you were good kids and said he felt lucky that you were easy to raise. But he failed to give credit to himself as a role model to you and that perhaps he had something to do with the people you have become. Rest in peace Mr. Fedak. You will be dearly missed. My wife Lori and I offer our deepest condolences to George’s family. I worked with George at R&D and he was loved by all but I think you all knew that. I especially remember him helping me reshingle my garage roof in his retirement, I was worried he might be working too hard but he told me no and kept going. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to help you. Legend has it that he saw every game played in the Windsor Fastpitch League and was the unofficial commissioner of the league. A truly remarkable man! I've known George for many years such a great guy. He always talked about his rare Corvette. We always talked at every car we attended including his last and i was so glad that his family helped to make his dream come true. You will be missed. God bless you George and RIP

Betty and I would like to send our condolences to George’s entire family. He was a great family man and always willing to help out anyone. He came with me 55 years ago to check out a ‘61 chevy convertible which became my first car. It was selling cheap, owner thought engine was shot. By listening he figured out it just has a couple spark plug wires crossed. Fixed it in his driveway and it ran like a top. He didn’t like my driving much. We went to Autorama years ago and he always teased me about driving on the sidewalk to get around the ice on the road. It was just up the curb a bit. He will be sadly missed by anyone thar knew him.
