Obituary of Miko Ovanin
OVANIN, Miko
With great sorrow, Miko passed away suddenly surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday July 25th, 2023 at the age of 68. Loving husband to Durda (Juliette) Ovanin. Beloved Tata of Elizabeth Ovanin (Jason Macfarlane) and Miro Ovanin. A truly cherished Deda to Gabriella and Derek Ovanin Macfarlane. Brother to Stefo (Marica) Ovanin and Marica Pentek (Croatia). Reunited with his late parents Stefan and Marica Ovanin (Croatia). He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and full of love. Miko put his heart into everything he did in his life and worked so hard to create his life to give to his family. Miko was authentically and wholeheartedly there for those in his life, especially his grandchildren.Peace and caring permeated him, and kindness felt like it was his middle name, he always had a lending hand. Anyone who knew Miko knew that he was the most loving husband, father, sibling, and son a family could ask for. He shared this same love with his community of friends, professionals, and acquaintances spanning across the world.
Miko will be deeply missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
