Obituary of David Zakovski

ZAKOVSKI, David

Passed away peacefully on July 18, 2023 with his family lovingly by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 14, 1972 in Windsor, Ontario. Devoted son to his surviving mother Jagoda Zakovski and his late father Petko Zakovski (2010). Cherished brother to Lori White (Steve). Loving partner to Terri Belcoure. Predeceased by his grandparents Zivko and Petra Savic, and Sovro and Bora Sinadinavski. Dave will also be fondly remembered by countless family members and friends in Canada, the United States and Macedonia. After graduating from Herman Secondary School he attended St. Clair College in order to pursue a career in the skilled trades as a machinist and CNC operator. Dave was loyal, generous, witty and outgoing. He loved to share a laugh with family and friends. We are grateful to the Windsor Regional Hospital’s Cancer Program and the staff and volunteers of the Hospice of Windsor for providing exceptional compassionate care. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel - Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E) on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Prayers will be held at 7:30pm. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 9:30 am from the funeral home then processing to St. Nicholas Macedonian Church (5225 Howard Ave) for a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
