Obituary of James Thomas Clarke

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James (Jim) Thomas Clarke on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the age of 64. Devoted husband to Jacqueline, proud father to Amanda (David), Kelly (Jeff), and Patrick, and beloved grandfather to Molly, Rosalie and Fintan. 

James had a long career as a well-respected elevator mechanic in Quebec and Ontario. He was a dear friend to many and will be greatly missed. 

The family extends their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Dr. M. Doko, and staff at Windsor Regional Hospital’s Cancer Centre, and the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County. 

At James request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Avenue (519) 253-7236 on Thursday, July 20 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service led by Father Greg Bonin will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel.
