Obituary of Kenneth "Ken" McClelland

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on July 11, 2023, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of 41 years to Dianne. Reunited with his daughter Sherry Roettger and son Keith McClelland. Cherished father of Kim McClelland, Barb Green (Larry), Michael McClelland (Tanya), Tracie Farrugia (Bobby), Tricia Tolls, Sean Tolls, and Craig McClelland (Jen). Proud Papa/Gramp to numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. Dear brother in law of David (Janice), Kim (Herb, 2022), Sharon (Philip, 2023), Barry (Louise), Bev (Mike) and Gary. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. Ken began his career with the City of Kingston, outside workers where he became president of their Union. He then moved to Windsor where he became the National Union Representative for CUPE. Ken enjoyed golfing, tournaments with his CUPE buddies, and spending time with all his friends at the trailer in Wildwood Golf and RV Resort. At Ken’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home - Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. In memory of Ken, donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor.
