Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on July 10th, 2023 at the age of 62. Beloved wife to Michael, whom she shared 23 years of marriage with.  Loving mother to Kris (Jade), Kurtis and Kaitlyn. Cherished grandmother to Joey, Kodin and Oaklyn. Missed by her furbaby Molly. Beloved daughter to Marilyn and Tom Douglas, and the late Ron Colman (2007). Sister to Brett (Mary-Kay), Brad (Joni), Wade, Wendy, Tommy and Judy. Daughter in law to the late Wally (2007) Pecaski (Georgina) and the late Marja Pecaski (2017). Sister-in-law to Lisa (John) and Davy. Will as well be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 
When it comes to Veronica, there are no words to truly describe her unconditional love. When she walked into a room, her presence made faces light up full of smiles. One couldn’t help but be inspirited by her radiant positivity. Everywhere she went she made new friends. The beautiful combination of silliness, care and strength she brought to the world can never be replaced. She is truly one of a kind. Please help us to celebrate and honor her by continuing the strong, special love she has given. We believe it deserves to go on forever. Thank you, Veronica, for sharing your life with us and for the endless positive memories. Our angel will be with us forever in our hearts.
Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel), 11677 Tecumseh Rd E, 519-253-7235, on Friday July 14th from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral services to continue the following day at 11am in the chapel. Cremation to follow. In memory of Veronica, donations may be made to Brentwood Recovery Home.
