Obituary of Michelle Menard

It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Michelle Menard (nee Maltais); who passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the age of 55. Her daughter, Emma Menard, survives her. Dear daughter of Vincent Maltais, and the late Kathleen McConville. Cherished step-daughter to Cheryl Maltais. A loving big sister to Michael Maltais (Heidi), Marc Maltais (Kristy), and Matthew Maltais (Alida). Beloved aunt to her nieces and nephews.

She spent 20 spirited years working at the LCBO, and will be missed dearly by her coworkers, who became some of her closest friends.

Michelle’s greatest joy and purpose was and forever will be her daughter. She was a lasting friend to many. She was bold in her approach, and was able to find laughter in any room she entered. She shouldered all of life’s misfortunes with vehemence; and found pieces of happiness in all the small moments. She will forever be remembered for the lives she has touched.

We find comfort in knowing her spirit rests with her mother, for whom she missed dearly, every day.

A visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234, on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. As per Michelle's wishes, cremation will take place at a later date.
