Obituary of Daniel James Porter

PORTER Daniel James A resident of Tecumseh, Dan passed away suddenly, in Quebec City on Sunday August 24, 2008 at the age of 50 years. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee Cossette) Loving and proud father of Jeremy and Charlene. Dear son of the late James and Myrtle Porter (1990)., and son-in-law of Corinne and Ralph Rivard, and Norm and Vickie Cossette. Dear brother of Thelda and Fred Gallant, Janie and John LeBlanc, Betty and Bill Hebert, Lorna and Gus Pitre, and Dorothy Beecroft. Dear brother-in-law of Romeo and Sue Cossette, Larry Cossette, Mary Ann Cossette and Simonne Vangalon, and Lionel and Lori Cossette. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Daniel passed away doing what he absolutely loved most, and that was running in a marathon. When Dan walked into a room he had the ability to light it up, just with his smile. A private family service with cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Saturday August 30, 2008 at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East for Memorial Visitation from 10:30 am until time of service to celebrate Dan's life at 12:00 Noon.
