Obituary of Stephen (Stevie) Edward Atras

71 years.  Passed away after a brief illness, surrounded by his family and friends on June 19, 2023.  Predeceased by his parents Steve and Jean Atras.  Loving brother to Jim (Tanis) Atras of Manitoba and Paul Atras.  Dear uncle to Robert, Dave and Colleen (Demetris).  Will be sadly missed by family, friends, his best friends;  Larry, Greg B., Greg S. and the staff and management at Virginia Park.  Stephen was an avid bowler, he loved to play Bocce and go fishing.  A special thank you to the Dr’s, Nurses and staff at Windsor Regional Hospital (ICU) at both Ouellette and Met Campus for the care and compassion provided to Stephen.  Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel), 3048 Dougall Avenue (519-253-7236) on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
