It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Edward Garant on June 18, 2023 at the age of 65 surrounded by those he loved the most. Beloved husband of Cathy (nee Farrand) for 43 years. Loving Dad to Brandon and wife Megan, Jackie and husband Peter Millar. Adored papa to Lincoln, Lizzy, Emmy, Logan and Grace. Predeceased by daughter Angela (1989), parents Edward and Shirley Garant and Stephen and Elfreda Farrand. Dear brother of Roger (Pam), Sharon (Don), Robin (Alan), Bobby (Mary), Teresa, Shirley (Steve), and John (Tammi). Cherished brother-in-law of Ken (predeceased) (Linda), Jim (predeceased) (Sherry), Tom (Donna), Janice (Rod), Gord (Shelley), Joanne (Greg), and Larry (Malanka). Survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends. Ed was retired from General Motors Transmission with 28 years of service. Ed enjoyed spending quality time with his family, camping, traveling, and was an avid Nascar fan. Thank you to the amazing staff at WRH Cancer centre, 4 West and ICU for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the WRH Cancer Centre will be appreciated.

Funeral Visitation at Windsor Chapel, Central Chapel (519-253-7234) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, Windsor, ON, on Thursday, June 22 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm.

Celebration of Life in the chapel on Friday, June 23 at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
