Obituary of Helene Marie Chapieski

CHAPIESKI, H"l"ne Marie (nee T"treault) May 19, 1929 - August 21, 2008 It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife and soulmate for 56 years to Elphedge (Elphy, Ralph) Chapieski. Loving and devoted mother to Wayne Chapieski, Brian and Debbie Chapieski, Ray and Debbie Quenneville and Kevin Chapieski. Cherished grandmother to Ken, Kim, Nicole, Jason, Meaghan and Brittany; will be sadly missed by her great grandchildren, Brian, Sienna and Payton. Dear sister to Louis T"treault and Margaret Renaud. Predeceased by her parents Adelard and Anne T"treault , brothers Leo T"treault, Omer T"treault, George T"treault and sister Pauline Dahl. H"l"ne will not be forgotten by her daughter-in-law Marguerite Chapieski and long-time family friend Fran Shorten. H"l"ne and her husband Elphedge were the very proud workers and owners of Canada Salvage Hardware for over 30 years. Friends will be received at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Parish Prayers Sunday 7:30 p.m. Family and friends will be received at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church (13789 St. Gregory Rd., St. Clair Beach) on Monday, August, 25, 2008 for visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Anne"s Cemetery, Tecumseh. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
