Obituary of Shanta Palaha

PALAHA, SHANTA It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend on June 4th, 2023 at 87 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Satpal Palaha (2017) with whom she celebrated many years of marriage. Proud mother of Anil and wife Tanu, Neelam and husband Sudershan Bhatia, Madhu and husband Vikram Chopra. Loving grandmother of Nitin and wife Sukhinder Bhatia, Kunal and wife Mamta Bhatia,Tarun and wife Reema Chopra, Neha and husband Karan Batra, Rahul, Priya and Sania Palaha. Will as well be remembered by her 7 great- grandchildren. We would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Tecumseh for their care and compassion over the years. Our Badi mummy loved her whole family more than anything and was always there for everyone, she will be deeply missed. Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (11677 Tecumseh Rd E), 519.253.7235 on Tuesday June 6th, 2023 from 5-6:30pm. Funeral service to take place the following day on Wednesday June 7th at 10am in the chapel. Cremation to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Crematorium (1805 ON-3, Oldcastle, ON).
