Obituary of Bruna Vadori

VADORI, Bruna (nee Nicodemo) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on June 3, 2023, in her 98th year. She was the dear wife of John (2022) with whom she shared 74 years of beautiful marriage. Bruna was the middle of three children from Enrico and Pasqua (nee Nadalin). Bruna will always be lovingly remembered by her sons Larry (Sandy) and Mario (Susan). She was the cherished Nonna to her four grandchildren, Jamie (Suzy), Kevin (Pam), Angela Vadori and Christa Vadori, and they adored her. Cherished Nonna-B to her great-grandchildren Brooke, Casen, Matteo, Luca, Brisa and Aria. Reunited with her sister Ester (Bruno) and brother Bruno. Survived by sister-in-law Clorinda Nicodemo. Special Zia to Clara (nee Angeli) and Silvio Barresi, as well as many other nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. After immigrating to Canada, from Morsano Al Tagliamento, Pordenone, Italy, Bruna was dedicated to building a prosperous life for generations to come. She was an avid gardener and always proud of the bounty shared each Summer. Bruna was most happy at home making delicious food, especially risotto and polenta. Thank you for the delicious meals and plenty of leftovers. Her recipes and the time shared will live on in our hearts forever. A special thank you to Dr. DiBartolomeo and Oak Park for the wonderful care and support, as well as the doctors and nursing staff at WRH Ouellette Campus, HDGH Dr. Y. Emara Centre and Huron Lodge for providing care and comfort in her final days. She will always be remembered and loved. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Road East on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 4:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 9:30am at St. Angela Merici Church, where she was a lifetime parishioner.
