Obituary of Isabella Maria Stella D'Agnillo

D’AGNILLO , ISABELLA MARIA STELLA (nee Campanaro) It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Isa on May 31, 2023 at the age of 61 years old after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Loving wife of Frank for 39 years. Cherished mother of Vanessa Di Paolo (Luke) and David. Special Nonna of Gioia Di Paolo and Romeo Di Paolo. Predeceased by her parents Antonio and Maria Campanaro and father-in-law, Nicola. Survived by mother-in-law, Livia. Survived by her loving, caregiving and supportive sister Teresa Talerico (Felix), and brother Vito Campanaro (Rita). Survived by in-laws Iola Jubenville (Les), Vince (Sue), Dino (Marrian), Deni, Nancy, Sandy and the departed Nicky. Isa is also survived by many loved nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, the United States, and Italy. Special cousins Aurora Berlasi of Michigan and Teresa Campanaro of Windsor.

We are grateful for the many lasting friendships that enriched Isa’s life and we extend our deepest appreciation to all those who provided love, support and memories for Isa. Most notably, Paula Vincelli and Vicki Duri.

Isa was the light and life of every event, her infectious smile and joyful laughter will be missed. Family always came first. Her pride and joy were her two grandchildren, her love for them was so whole-hearted and pure. Isa was an educator for over 30 years in the WECDSB. She has taught many lessons over the years, most impressionably; to live life to the fullest, to live courageously and to have unwavering faith in the almighty Lord.

A very special thanks to her medical team; Dr. Hamm, Dr. Riyazuddin, Dr. Bagga, Dr. Hermiz, Dr. Schneider, Dr. Deans, Dr. Freeman for helping us have more time and memories with Isa. Thank you to the staff at WRH (Met and Ouellette campuses). Special thank you to wonderful nurses Ryan (4W) and Tanya (5 CTU). We are grateful to Hospice of Windsor, Dr. Zokvic and nurse Jessica for the loving care, compassion and dedication shown to our beloved mother in her final days.
