Obituary of Tony Spadafora
Passed away peacefully on May 31, 2023 at the age of 76 years. Loving father to Adriana Hebert (Ken), David Spadafora (Loni), Paul Spadafora (Gabriella). Adored Nonno to Alycia, Isabella, Adam, Aiden, Max and Zackary. Cherished brother to the late Giuseppe Spadafora (Edda), Mario Spadafora (Emma), the late Maria Mazzenga and surviving husband Mario, Jerry Spadafora (Lucy). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Tony was a proud member of the Giovanni Caboto Club. He will be missed in the community for his musical talent, which included playing the guitar. He will be remembered as “Tony the Guitar Player”, where he performed at many venues such as at Brigantino’s Trattoria, Erie St. Festivals, special events, private functions and introducing the concept of strolling at weddings. Tony's family members shared many memorable moments and supported him in his lifetime. There is one special moment in particular that truly touched Tony's heart where he enjoyed the weekly experience of having a Wendy's hamburger with his brother Jerry and nephews Dino and Marco. A special and heartfelt thank you to Grace for her dedication, compassion and exceptional care provided to Tony over the past 3 years. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave, South Windsor (519-253-7236) on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Parish prayers Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in procession from the funeral home then to St Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave. Windsor) for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
