Obituary of Salvatore Pirillo

PIRILLO, SALVATORE A husband, a father, a grandfather... a faithful man and humble servant of God, with a generous heart to provide and care for those he loved. This was Salvatore. His family and his faith in God was always the core of his being. 85 years. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 20, 2008 at Malden Park Continueing Care Centre. Reunited with loving wife Rosina (2005). Loving father to Frank and wife Rosemary, Sam (2002) and Joseph and wife Antonietta. Cherished Nonno to Sam, Frank, Lisa, Anthony, Joey and Michael. Adored son to the late Serafino and Filomena Pirillo. Loved brother to the late Maria, Barbara, Ida, Giuseppe and survived by Pasquale. Dearest brother-in-law to Maria Puccio and the late Benedetto (2002), Orlando and Ninetta Filippelli, Iolanda Bilotta and the late Sante (2008) and Carmelina and Mario Barbieri. Remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S.A. and Italy. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services Monday, August 25, 2008 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
