Obituary of Gerald Joseph Lemire

LEMIRE, Gerald Joseph "Jerry" Passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, on February 17, 2008, at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus, at the age of 78 years. Loving husband of 56 years to Laura (nee Minello). Dear brother to Jeanette Chall and husband Lou, and predeceased by Helen Byrne and late husband Ed. Dear brother-in-law to Renaldo Minello and wife Mary, and the late Norma Popovich and survived by husband Lou. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear friends and neighbours to Mr. and Mrs. A. Charron. Jerry retired after many years of service, from Work Wear Corporation. He was also a member of the Lions Club, Knights of Columbus and the Big Brother. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Wednesday from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Parish Prayers Wednesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday February 20, 2008, at 8:45 a.m from the Funeral Home, then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Victoria Memorial Cemetery.
