Obituary of Vinko Juricic

JURICIC, Vinko At the age of 68, passed away with his loving family by his side on March 14, 2008. Born on April 5, 1939 in Prolozac, Croatia. Beloved husband of 40 years to Iva (nee Dragun). Devoted and loving father to Dr. Pasko, Dr. Ana and husband Harry Hasoulas, and Dr. Zora and husband Dr. Edward Gilmore. Proud Did of Vasilia. Predeceased by parents Pasko (1962) and Iva (2006) Juricic. Dear brother of Barisa and wife Milka (Croatia), Ante and wife Neda (Croatia), Joka and husband Stipe Juricic (Croatia), Mirko and wife Jasna of Windsor, Milan of Windsor and Ana and husband Ante Petricevic (Croatia). Son-in-law to late Mijo (1996) and Zora (1993) Dragun (Croatia). Brother-in-law to late Ivan Dragun, late Dragica Mustapic, late Mirko Dragun, late Ante Dragun, Josip Dragun (Croatia) and Zdravko Dragun (Germany). Uncle of Michael Juricic, Janet and husband Frank Maceroni, Wanda Juricic, and many nieces and nephews in Croatia and Germany, Vinko had worked for many years with Riverside Construction, He will always be remembered as a masterful carpenter. He was so proud of all three of his children's education and success. Vinko's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the incredible compassion and dedication of Dr. Faisal Rehman (Nephrologist in London), Dr. Younan and Dr. Ayoub in Montreal without whom we would not have enjoyed the memories of the past 3 years. We would also like to thank Dr. Sayed-Ali, Dr. Al Kadri, Dr. Alam, and the incredible care and compassion from our nurse Joanne from CCAC. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm and Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Prayers Sunday at 8 pm. Funeral Services on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 9:15 am from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Kidney Clinical Research Unit in London, Ontario under the care of Dr. Rehman, Hospice of Windsor or St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church Building Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
