Obituary of Libera Amalia Forte

Forte, Libera Amalia (nee Minato) Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at her side, at Richmond Terrace, March 11, 2008, at the age of 88 years. Loving wife of the late Luciano 1995. Beloved mother of Serge and wife Donna, Frank and wife Anna, and Peter. Cherished nonna of Michael and Christian. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers Ida, Concetta, Amalia, Clelia, Angelo, and Giovanni in Italy and Argentina. Dear zia of Ennio and wife Lidia, Danilo and wife Betty and Dania and Roger. Survived by many nieces and nephews in Italy and Argentina. Libera had a great passion for cooking, but her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. Visiting at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers on Thursday at 7:30 pm. Funeral Services on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 8:45 a.m. from Windsor Chapel then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Angela Church Building Fund, Italian Canadian Handi-capable Association (IHCA) or Charity of Choice.
