Obituary of Genevieve Christine L'Italien

L'Italien Genevieve Christine. (nee Cloutier) It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, on Sunday April 6, 2008, at the age of 84 years. Devoted wife of 30 years to Yvon L'Italien, and pre-deceased by her former spouse George Scholey(1989). Loving mother of Michael Scholey, and daughter Shari (Scholey) Daher. Dear "Gen", to Michel Litalien (Ohio), Rene Litalien (North Carolina). Lucie St. Antoine (Georgia), and Marc Litalien(California). She will be missed by her grandchildren, Eric, Monique, Kevin, Andrew, Michael, Christopher, Caroline, Danielle, Shannon, Katelyn and Alexandria, and she was a special "Grandma GG", to 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Irene Ouellette, Rita Dugal, Margaret Beemer, all of Windsor, and Theresa ( Sr. Genevieve Ann Cloutier-S.S.J., London, Ont)., and several in-laws in Quebec. Several nieces and nephews will fondly remember her "gentle smile and classy style". She began her career as a legal secretary, and then served as Medical Secretary to the Executive Director of I.O.D.E. Hospital for more than 20 years. Special thanks to Central Park Lodge 5th floor, 6 and 7 East at HDGH., and the 3rd floor at Malden Park. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 1700 Tecumseh Rd., East on Tuesday April 8, 2008 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. Prayers Tuesday at 7:30 pm. Visitation to continue on Wednesday April 9, 2008 at Church of the Atonement,(2940 Forest Glade Drive) from 9:00 am until time of funeral mass at 10:00 am. Cremation to follow.
