Obituary of Gerald Joseph Tiede

TIEDE, Gerald Passed away after a lengthy illness on July 16th, 2008 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Lucille Tiede (1974) and Alice Tiede (2000). Loving father of Diana and Gary Lesperance, Susan and Len Janisse, Nancy and Mitch Clements, Allan and Anna Tiede. Special Pepe to Kris and Dayna Lesperance, Matthew and Andrew Janisse, Mitchell, Danielle, Michael Clements, Jenifer, Mandy, Jerry, Joshua Tiede. Will be greatly missed by great grandson Ryland Tiede. Dear brother of the late Leo Tiede, late Warren Tiede (Adelaine), Marie Wallace (late Jim), Carrie Hodgkinson (Don), Leona Paprosky (late Leo), Edward Tiede (Doris). Dear brother-in-law to Rene Lebert (Sophie), late Norm Lebert (Mae), Arthur Lebert (Hattie), late Pete Lebert, late Lorraine Papineau (Gene), late Janet Lebert, Roger Lebert (Irene), and Eleanor Parent. Will be missed by stepchildren and their families. He was a Veteran of WWII and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #255. Indy and Bailey will miss his treats and visits. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, July 18, 2008 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 4 p.m. A Veteran's Service under the auspices of the Windsor Veteran's Memorial Service Committee will take place Friday at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at St. Theresa's Church (1991 Norman Rd.) for visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
