Proud grandpa to Ken and wife Lenna, Kari, Lindsay and Matthew. Great grandpa to Connor and Kira. Dad is survived by his sister Dunia Markovtz and numerous nieces and nephews of Belarus. Dad instilled integrity, honesty, compassion, humour and above all the importance of family to all of us. Dad took every opportunity to help family, friends and neighbours and made a lasting impression to everyone he met. Dad was especially proud to be a Canadian citizen, living in "The best country in the world" as he always reminded us.
