Obituary of Nora Severn

SEVERN, Nora (nee Jeffrey) Passed away peacefully on July 8, 2008 at Malden Park Continuing Care Centre with her loving family at her side. Loving wife of Ken with whom she shared 47 years of marriage. Loving mother of Patti Langlois and husband Barry, Sheila Severn and fianc" Steve Mitchell. Cherished grandmother to Nicole, Allison and Shaun all at home. Dear sister to the late Gerard Jeffrey (sister-in-law Vera), survived by brother David Jeffrey (and the late May) of Windsor, and sister-in-law Glenice Payton and husband Ronald of England. Dear aunt of David Jeffrey and wife Susan and their children Jocelyn and Andrew, Brian, Richard and the late Gerry Jeffrey, Christopher and Caroline Payton. Nora was born in Dundee Scotland, the daughter of the late David Sr. and Maryann Jeffrey. She came to Windsor in 1957. Nora was a member of the Windsor Yacht Club. She had a passion for music and enjoyed playing the piano. Nora loved to sing the 40's and 50's ballads from the Big Band Era. At Nora's request there will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will take place at a later date.
