Obituary of Mary Phyllis Doreen Fox

Fox, Phyllis Mary (nee Carroll) Passed away peacefully at Hospice Residential with family by her side on May 24th, 2008 at the age of 69 years after having cancer for over 5 years. Beloved wife of the late Jim (1995). Dearly loved mother of Jane Komar (Gary) and Heather Lapointe (Paul) and Jay Fox (Tracy). Cherished Nana of Alyssa and Evan Komar and Natalie Lapointe (late Kayla). Youngest of 10 children of the late Joseph and Mabel Carroll. Always loved by her siblings Patricia McGuire (late Gerald), late Geneva and Harry Howard, (late Earl) and survived by wife Frances, Lila and Ron Robinson, Edison , (late Bill), Muriel and Pat O'Meara, (late Preston) and survived by Helen and Cecile D'Arcy; several brothers - in - law and sisters - in - law, and many dear nieces and nephews. Phyllis worked at Sears for 29 years and had great memories of the staff, her lunch buddies and many good friends. A long time member of the CWL at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Special thanks to Dr. Matthews, Anne and the staff at the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, the Saint-Elizabeth nurses, especially Julie and Rose, and also the staff at Hospice Residential. Friends and family may visit at The Windsor Chapel Funeral Home 1700 Tecumseh Rd East (519-253-7234) on Monday from 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Prayers Monday at 4:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to join the family on Tuesday May 27, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd) from 9:30 AM until time of funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
