Obituary of Mijo Domsic

DOMSIC, Mijo 76 years. Passed away peacefully on May 20, 2008 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus, surrounded by his loving family. years. Beloved husband of 51 years to Jela "Ellen" (nee Mihalic). Loving father to Zelko Domsic and wife Branka. Cherished Deda to Anne-Marie and Samantha. Dear brother to Anka, Kata, Maca and the late Paval (2001). Dearest uncle to Darko Domsic of Croatia and also survived by many other nieces and nephews in Canada and Croatia. Mijo will also be missed by his extended family members, the Tomicic, Fuduric, and Bilicic families. Mijo was a retired employee of Chrysler Canada and a member of C.A.W. Local 444 and St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, May, 22, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Friday at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 10:15 a.m. from the Windsor Chapel then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A heartfelt thank you to all our Kumovi, neighbours and friends for their kind and thoughtful assistance. Special thanks to Dr. Dusan Sijan, nurses and caregivers for their care and compassion shown to Mijo and his family.
