Obituary of Antonio Baldi

Photo for Thursday paper BALDI, Antonio It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of a beloved husband, father and nonno on May 13, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of 59 years to Lucia (nee Briato). Loving father to Giorgio Baldi, Carla Hope and husband Gary, Carlo Baldi and wife Debbie. Cherished nonno to Toni Baldi, Dennis and partner Monique, Grant and Connor Hope, Anita and Daniel Baldi. Bis-nonno to Jessica, Trevor and Dante. Dear brother to Emilia, Adua and Gabriella; all of Italy. Predeceased by sister Elda and brother Franco and his surviving wife Marisa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Antonio was a member of the Giovanni Caboto Club. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, May 15, 2008 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Thursday at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 8:45 a.m. from the Windsor Chapel then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
