Obituary of Walter Pascucci

Walter Pascucci, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 15, 2024.

Walter was born on July 21, 1946, to Luigi and Luisa Pascucci in Fano, Italy. At the age of 15, he embarked to Canada with his mom, dad and brother, Massimo. He graduated from Fanshawe College as an Electrician and was a proud member of the Local 773 IBEW.

In 1971, Walter met his wife Maria, married a year later and became a beloved son in-law to the late Giuseppe and Marianna Alfini. They went on to share 51 blessed years together.

Walter enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden, making home-made wine, cooking delicious foods, like roast beef, tomatoes and breadcrumbs, stuffed calamari, and sausages. He was the heart of every gathering, exuding positive energy wherever he went, engaging in conversation, and singing his favourite tunes. Because of his friendly ways, he easily developed many lifelong friendships and always loved to reminisce of his early days.

Walter’s family was his pride and joy, and he enjoyed every moment of his life even during his battle with lung disease. Nothing held him back from participating in family events and outdoor activities. His perseverance allowed him to enjoy his life to the fullest.

He was a loving brother to the late Massimo (Mary Kay) Pascucci and brother in-law to Tony (Sharon) Alfini. He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Walter was immensely proud of his daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa (Mario Spagnuolo), Luisa (Tom Pace) and Marianne (Dan Brooks) and deeply loved his grandchildren Alex, Gianluca, Sophia and Adriano.
